SAMRT 2010 AGM was for information only since we did not get a quorum of 25 members out to the meeting. We will be having a short meeting October 2nd in Prince Albert during the Fall Seminar to vote on the motion that was put forward at the 2009 AGM for a dues increase to cover the fulltime Executive Director/Registrar position.

SAMRT 2009 AGM
The motion for the Ultrasonographers to join our Association was withdrawn as there were other developments from their side that halted this action. The motion to change our name was defeated. There was a lot of discussion on this topic - look for updates in your mailbox as well as a proposal for governance change and hiring a CEO for our regulatory body early this fall. A special meeting was asked for this fall to vote on both the governance change, the new bylaws and name change, to be held in late October or November.

| Mandatory CE Effective January 1, 2011 all SAMRT Full Practice License members are required to have a minimum of 10 CE credits per year instead of 5 credits in a year and 30 credits in 3 years. |
